Wrote fun and headlines, recipe posts, step-by-step instructions, and researched recipes using SEO guidelines and keywords to shoot CH’s recipes to the top of Google searches. This website has well over 1 million hits/month and keeps growing.  I was the primary copywriter and editor for 3+ years, working in Wordpress through several site redesigns.

Content Editor, Flatout Bread: December 2015 - December 2017

Copywriter and blogger: Blog posts, recipe round ups, and other content highlighting various themes and holidays throughout the year, becoming the voice and personality of Flatout. Copy, descriptions, and tag lines for Flatout’s ecommerce store and YouTube videos, following SEO best practices. Headlines for the weekly Flatout email newsletter.

Content editor: Monthly content calendars, communication with contributors, designers, sponsored athletes, musicians, and guest bloggers to create an interesting and positive reader experience that boosts web traffic. Created standards for our influencers and social media team.

Recipe developer: I tested and developed 10-12 unique and delicious and seasonal flatbread recipes per month for target audiences, as well as wrote WeightWatchers© friendly recipes and content for their endorsed product lines. I collaborated with the photographer to ensure a variety of image styles so the blog looked polished and sharp. I always stay on top of new and noteworthy trends in the industry.
